Added SWC, DIC stuff works but radio controls do not...
2003 Tahoe that didn't come with SWC. Installed a new Kenwood DMX809s with PAC rpm5-gm11. Installed a new steering wheel w SWC buttons & installed the proper clockspring. The 2 lower SWC buttons work fine, DIC stuff appears to be all good. Upper buttons for radio controls are not functioning...- Physh1

Misfires...can't figure it out...
A few weeks back I popped a ses light & truck started idling bad, missing, but seemed to run fine at higher rpm. Codes were running lean bank 1 with misfires on 3 & 7. Goodridge Brakes lines
That was my review...lol... You need to use the new banjo bolts included in the kit & 2 copper crush washers per caliper. One washer goes on the banjo, than put the bolt though the hole in the line, add another washer, than thread it into the caliper. As far as the connecting the Goodridge line...- Physh1

Cylinder 7 misfire...I think it's bad...
Ok, popped a SES light last week. Happened randomly on the way home. 225k on motor. Cylinder 7 misfire. Plug is clean but changed anyway. Coil was swapped with another cylinder...no change in miss. Changed wires...no change. I also put new injectors in all 8 cylinders. My mech friend checked...- Physh1

Electrical issues - watch my voltmeter video
Point made. However, more diagnostics need to be done before a fault can be identified. He still has a very low idle which is causing voltage output irregularity & he hasn't checked all the circuits for a drain or mentioned what amp drain he has at the battery. Alternators can't cause a drain. They can undercharge or overcharge that affect your battery overall health but it won't parasitically drain your battery with your engine off. You need to probe each circuit in the fuse blocks with a meter (checking amp draw) to see what is using power when the...- Physh1

Parasitic Battery Drain
To the OP...your numbers are fine. Nothing even remotely excessive in your numbers. How old is your battery? 3-5 years is an average life & with winter rolling in anything around that age can be iffy. To rich5368...how old is the battery? You see a meter to probe circuits to see what is using...- Physh1

Underhood light with pigtail harness from a 00-06 suv
This is a working when I removed it under hood light from a NBS suv... I cut it off at the connection to the harness. Just need to give it power & a ground. I believe all 00-06 suvs have provisions for this to clip in. My 03 does... $40 shipped... Cameron- Physh1
