    Are keys and new shocks needed to remove rake?

    I have a Z71 and Im not necessarily looking to lift, but rather just remove the forward rake. Just level with a little more room to get under the truck without a jack. Will I need new keys and shocks to do this? Or can I just crank the stock keys? Im worried that it being a Z71 it has just maxed...

    Very clean Florida truck, but I did clean some grounds that were indeed dirty. Still I want to find the ground for the main negative lead. As some one mentioned before was to check for corrosion and did. Its starting now with the Firebird battery. Still weak tho.

    Thanks for all the help guys. Pulled a battery from our dead Firebird and it worked, worked with way less charge than the original battery. Old battery still tests good, so I dont know what to think about it. Im still going to probably have to get another battery as it still seems like it a has...

    Cables look very clean, but Ill check in the lead cover. They are a pain to remove. I might just cut them off if they get corroded anyway. Whats the point in having them.

    Cables are very clean. I just cleaned grounds under the driver door on the frame and the one that goes to battery by the radiator. Still same result. Still dont know where the main negative cable goes tho. Any idea?

    Battery tests good and I dont even need to turn it over for it to lose power. So in this case I dont think solenoid would cause power loss, right?

    2003 Avy with the 5.3 Been trying for over an hour to get it out to no avail. 15mm is too big and 9/16 is too small. Is there yet another proprietary tool that I need to buy?! Also, assuming I actually can get it out eventually, what can I get to replace it? I do not want to use that garbage...

    Hey, sorry I havent gotten back to you. I literally ended up in the hospital as soon as I got back. It's been a mess since. Ill find out whats up with me next Monday. That said, Ill be near Lawnwood that day and baring any bad news Id like to meet up then if possible.
