What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Installed a 20" light bar behind the grill. Very pleased with how it turned out. I now have the urge to get a bigger bar to fill out the grill better, but the extra light is nice to have. I had the light bar from a previous vehicle, so no new expense. Three and a half years of owning the Tahoe I...

    The Great Wheel Dilemma!

The Duratracs are also on my list. I've read many good things about them.

    The Great Wheel Dilemma!

Thank you for the response. I am in Indianapolis, and the slushy stuff and ice is what we get most, aside from a few good snow days here and there. I would be mounting them a 20" rim, which would make a difference. I found a bunch of great reviews searching a Tacoma forum, but that's clearly a...

    The Great Wheel Dilemma!

@George B I haven't searched every thread yet, so you may have mentioned it, but how do you like these tires? Now that you probably got some good time in the snow with them?

    Under hood storage

Commenting to follow thread. Advance Auto Parts had a battery box that fit that spot nicely but the body support crossbar thing made it too tight to fit and wouldn't allow the box lid to be removed without removing that support bar, eliminating the convenience of the whole idea. The ammo boxes...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I received the brake sensor I ordered in response to my intermittent cruise control, similar issue to what @mattjones posted. @Doubeleive then posted about how the switch allows a little movement, so I tried a little kick-tap near the top of the brake pedal arm to re-seat the switch. Sure...

When people ask, Why do you need such a big.....

It seems that every time I think I could downsize to a smaller vehicle, I immediately put the Tahoe to work. We've been doing a lot of house project lately, and smaller SUVs can't handle drywall, doors, pressure washers (standing up), etc. Well, not as easily. Not to mention, most (if not all)...

    High Beams

My 2011 Tahoe just lost the function to "flash" the brights by pulling the multi-function switch arm, or stalk, towards the direction of the driver. Were you able to resolve this issue without having to buy a new stalk?

I drove my Tahoe to Lowe's and saw this frankentruck in the parking lot.

From what I have read, the length of the excess stud isn't as important as long as the nut is completely threaded / completely on the stud. Add some blue Loctite to the studs for a little extra security. I had the same issue when I installed spacers on my Xterra. I noticed no issues with the...

    2009 to 2011 Tahoe

I have a 2011 Tahoe LTZ with moon roof. I have had no issue with the moon roof leaking, not from rain, and not from the car wash. However, the shark fin antenna next to the moon roof has created an occasional leak after a heavy/long rain. I need to pull down the headliner to tighten up the...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I ordered a set of Akebono brake pads from rockauto.com. They were only $2.00 cheaper than Amazon after adding shipping then applying the forum discount, but $20 -$50 cheaper than other online vendors for the same model numbers. Also good to use a supporting vendor. I've had good results with...
