    P257D Code Stored

2018 Chevy Tahoe LT. I got an alert from OnStar about this code: P257D Engine Hood Switch. There is no check engine light on, or hood ajar light on, however. When I run an OBDII check, it shows the code stored. Any insight on this? I assume the hood latch and sensor will need to be replaced?

Drove them from Bay Area to LA. Virtually no road noise at all. MPG improvement over the Duratracs. Getting about 24MPG highway.

    New Falken Wildpeak AT3W

2018 LT. Just replaced my Duratrac 275/65/R18 with these. The Falkens ride so much quieter. 275/65/R18 on Black Rhino wheels. Perfect fit, no rubbing. Running about cold 36-37 psi.

    Coolant Temp Question

I spoke to Chevy dealership and they said that sounds normal as well. I was concerned as I've read that the temp is pegged at 210 unless there's an issue. Chevy guys said that is not the case. Rig has 32k on it, and hasn't had a radiator flush yet.

    Coolant Temp Question

2018 Tahoe LT -- Driving to LA today over the Grapevine. Hot day, temps outside were about 110F and grade up was about 6%. Traffic slow, about 25mph. Temp gauge ran up to about 220F. Not towing anything, just 3 people in the car with A/C on. Normal? Never noticed the temp gauge move above...

    275 65r18 Duratrac

On Black Rhino Rotorua wheels with +12 offset. No rubbing, stock suspension. 2018 LT with tow package. I did have to take off front after market mud flaps off as I got a bit of rub at full lockout and flex.

^^^ Yeah, I have a full on R50 crawler/banger fully armored etc for off road. This Tahoe is basically a mall queen, but I want it to look cool!

    Wheel/tire help!

I'm looking to beef up the look of my 2018 Tahoe LT. I don't want to do a lift on it yet, but want to put new wheels and tires on it. I'm looking at the Black Rhino Rotorua with Duratrac AT's. Question, would the 18inch wheels with 275/65r18 look better/more offroad-ish than the 20inch wheels...

    18 Tahoe LT Skid Plates

That's an awesome write up and great looking Suburban! I found a fabrication guy who can make some beefy skid plates for not much more than the OEM ones. We'll see. Pics soon.
