I've thought about it but the factory LUX system doesn't sound all that bad to me, and I'd really like to use the Denali console harness as it is instead of hacking my original one up to reach all the power connections the Denali console has (the original consoles wiring went to totally...
Hey all! Ive got a 2003 GMC Yukon, SLT model. I installed a Denali center console and dash surround not too long ago and would like to make the "LUX" amp work, replacing my premium BOSE amp that came standard. Ive found a couple things online about the amp install but my case may be a little...
For those of you that have swapped the OEM electric fans into your trucks, or already had them (05/06 models) I’m trying to figure out how the wiring ran from the factory. I’m swapping these onto my 2003 Yukon and the current way I have the harness ran just doesn’t seem right. If someone could...
With the wheel base being longer the Suburban/XL/EXT models have different mounting points (since the wheel wells don’t go up right under the seat like they do in the Tahoe/Yukon/Esky)
Also I feel like shipping would get expensive sadly, large heavy items would definetaly have to be shipped...
Finally getting back on the project! Currently have the interior ripped out. Going to do some sound deadening and replacing the carpet. Does anyone on here know anything about removing the factory bose amp entirely? Im planning on running a whole new system and completely ditching the Bose crap...
I actually ended up getting lucky on eBay and found a full set of non-xl Denali trim pieces for $300 (my best offer and he took it!). Seemed cheap to me anyways although I’ll have to have them painted which is no biggie. I am still currently looking for the running boards for a non-xl and the...
Yessir, STL area! I’d check that out but sadly need the non-xl parts. I’ll check car-part.com
Usually their prices vary quite a bit but that seems cheap for a set of good OEM running boards!
Anyone have the Denali cladding for the non-XL Yukon laying around their garage and would like to get rid of it before Spring? Before I go buying it piece by piece I figured I’d look on here. Also looking for the Denali running boards. White is preferred but things can always be repainted!
Sorry for the delay on the build. Been extremely busy lately AND I STILL CANT FIND REAR SEATS. So if anyone knows where I can find some rear seats for a decent price somewhere near the St. Louis area it would be greatly appreciated.
The weather is finally getting nice so maybe I’ll be able to...
I would start by removing both seats. The console itself just take your time snapping the cupholder section off and the face wear the clock is on the Esky models also snaps off (carefully). Disconnect the electronic options from it and slowly remove. It’s pretty simple was you get into it
The 03+ Tahoe/Yukon/Esky steering wheel is much different 00-02 if I'm not mistaken. I believe the electronics side of it would be hard to make functional, but I could be wrong.
Escalade buckets will fit if it’s the short version (not ext model), send me a PM because I’m still looking for buckets!
That looks good but I’d rather just pay the little extra cash and have it hydro-dipped. I’m OCD about little things on my cars, so if something wasn’t perfect it would...
Well haven’t had any progress to update for a while... still haven’t found the rear captains chairs and it’s also been well below freezing for the past month, doesn’t look like it’ll let up anytime soon either so the projects been put on hold for now. Damn I need a heated garage!
I haven’t found my rear seats still, but I did get my second Denali console shipped in! $94 shipped, not a bad price for a full console with everything on it!
