Roof rack question
I thought there might have been. It just didn't seem right without any insulating but I couldn't find anything about it. I hoped it didn't have anything in there because I can't find them. I'm gonna try a dealer but I'm betting there not sold separately. So it's probably gonna get some inner... -

Roof rack question
I have an 04 suburban lt, and when I purchased it the roof rack was missing. I got a roof rack off eBay and the rails are supported with plastic brackets. My question is, should there be rubber gaskets between the plastic and the roof where it's bolted on? Thank you. -

Weird whining
It's hard to tell what the problem is? Have you checked you fluids. Does it whine all the time or just when you move? Does it increase with engine speed or vehicle speed?- Haro504

Have you checked the wiring diagram? maybe what ever powers the pump also powers other ignition components. -

1999 Escalade wheel alignment/power steering
If I had to guess I'd lean towards you steering box is worn or needs an adjustment. To have that much play in the wheel and none of the steering components dangerously or noticeably loose I'd look at the steering box or even the steering shaft. Engine Knock
I haven't heard your sound but did they say where it was coming from because bad rod bearings will knock and cause a drop in oil pressure. When the bearings go they don't hold pressure well- Haro504

I don't know if you can get a cv shaft with a slip yoke. If you can and it won't be driven aggressively I'd save the money. Sorry about my grammar. I ment when you pinion angle reaches about 7 degrees it will have vibrations. I didn't mean to set it there. I'm horrible at communicating.- Haro504

It's about drive shaft angles with a two joint drive shaft you can only max out your angle at around 12 degrees or you get bad vibrations and things start to wear out fast. A double cardan drive shaft increases the angle you can have but you have to make sure you pinion angle is inline with the...- Haro504
