I got about 250k on the clock; it probably does both. I know I've done a pressure test on this motor back when I was originally troubleshooting the issue in this thread and found I had some pressure loss likely from ring wear and/or some blowby.
To this day still haven't tackled the oil issue. I'm unaware of and service bulletins related to oil issues with my motor, got a link?
Recently had to replace ring and pinion on my front differential so I've been trying to hold of on putting more money into the truck for a minute. It still...
Yeah the fuel pump was the issue. 3 years later the truck still runs like a top have not had this issue pop up again since replacing the fuel pump. I've put about 50k miles on this truck since then.
This is my '07 Denali sporting a ~3" lift with Bilstein 5100 shocks all around, Z71 coils with a 1.5" spacer in the rear. I do a lot of hunting and mounting driving on some rough country roads out here in CO and this thing is a champ. I'm currently trying to make it more "utility" and looking to...
Anyone here know about removing the factory roof rack and installing a metal basket? Something like you might see on a FJ Cruiser or similar? I'm wanting to do this and wondering if there is a kit or a go-to conversion method for doing it. I've found ones that attach to the factory rack/cross...
Full time AWD system in these trucks splits 60/40 power between front and rear gears. I would think same tire size and model but tread difference will not matter between front and rear. Am I wrong?
So here's the scoop: I recently blew one of my rear tires in my denali. BFG A/T KO2's. They still have TONS of good tread only about a year and a half old, but I don't want to buy just 1 new tire, I'd rather have matching tread on the front wheels and rear wheels. Therefor - Ideally I'd like to...
Anyone ever find a place that makes aftermarket STEEL handles? I have an '07 denali and I've broke 3 door handles now from pulling on them trying to open a frozen door. One of them I have already replaced once and it's broken again. Sick of these cheap plastic POS's breaking.
That would cause my ABS to not work either right? ABS is fine, it's just stabilitrak/TCS error. Only sensor(s) I unplugged where single 2-wire sensors at the top of each shock and soldered the resistors in their places.
Getting a Service Traction Control and Service Stabilitrack error everytime I drive after swapping to passive shocks. Anyone else get this and know how to fix?
I used the same springs in the rear (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00498ZR7A/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1), but with the front strut adjustment put all the way up to the top setting I think I overcompensated so I may need to do the same that you did (3/4" spacer) to get...
Swapped out all 4 autoride shocks for Bilstein 5100's over the weekend and soldered and sleeved 4 of these resistors onto the sensor wires:

Still getting "service suspension system" error but I don't...
