    If I remember correctly the "hat" / plate component of the assembly was thoroughly rusted to the top of the shock where that large bolt goes on. This was 6 years ago now so I'm a little fuzzy on what exactly was wrong. I remember looking for a replacement piece sold separately but couldn't find one.

    I think I can get this squared away from a sealing perspective but I'm concerned that the two holes that go through the plastic to allow the air through may be hosed up in some way. Is anyone able to confirm that there are supposed to be 2 small holes connecting the breather side to the intake side?
