I couldn't take anything off the Tahoe. My salesman was losing alot off the GC already, so he needed to make enough on the trade in. Original price that he was selling it was for $17,995, and I got it for $13,500. I ended up financing everything with a 4yr/48,000 mile extended warrentyand GAP...

Well guys, the title says it all. I finally got rid of the "Hoe" and no I don't mean my wife either! :lol2: It was a long time coming and I bit the bullet. Traded the old bastard in for a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the 5.7 Hemi. Now it wasn't an easy decision. I wanted a 2004-2006 NBS Z71...

    posi traction question

Now the NBS and NNBS must have a better front end and have an option to have a front locker right?? Or are we all screwed into going SAS??

Yeah man I know, but its really addicting! You don't have to put up with the city life, and thats what I love most about wheeling.

    G80 Locker

Haha, so just the E80 or Eaton in general. Been looking at the trutrac, seems the best way to go in the tahoe's, well besides ARB.

Though about it, but not sure to invest that money on the hoe. On the fence about getting a NBS Tahoe Z71/Jeep Grand Cherokee 00'-04' so many decisions, so little money lol hahaha

    G80 Locker

Are the G80's in the NBS and NNBS the same as our OBS hoe's??

    posi traction question

I don't mean to steal this tread, but I just wanted more clarification on why its not possible to get a front locker? If we have a front axle, shouldn't it be possible to put some kind of locker or limited slip up front? Sorry if it sounds like a "NOOB" question

I found some cv's on amazon for a good price. Not sure if they're worth it though. Anyone know the nut bolt size to the hub?? It looks like a 32mm but i don't have a socket that :emotions122:big.

The first 2 are from the left side, last one is from the driver side. There doesn't look to be any "bad" angle for the shafts. Now to clear things up....I don't rockcrawl the hoe, well because its to big and heavy to do anything. Im not a dune jumper, but hey if i can get it up 1" in the air...

    Heating & Cooling core assembly

Do i run the risk of a fire hazard if i wrap the unit that has the circuit board exposed withe black tape? I think some wires may have caused the previous short and don't want to go through that again.

Ok, that still didn't answer my question. You basically bashed me for how I go wheeling. Ifs is supposed to be able to take a beating (to a certain limit). A buddy of mine beats the hell out of his WK grand cherokee and its got ifs too. Hasn't broken a single cv since he wheeled it stock and...

    Heating & Cooling core assembly

Oops!! Yeah I have the rear defroster, but i've never used it since it never gets that cold in the desert during the winter months. Will it still work if I have the defroster option, or do I have to buy the exact one?

Of autozone's cheapy cv axles for the hoe!! Any little bounce and the outter cv breaks like a twig! Now i've bougjten both remanufactured and new cv's, but they still suck. I need something more sturdy and that can take a beatin if i decide to get a lil airbourne in the hoe. Do you guys have any...
