I've done a lot of work on this truck since it was given to me by my dad. My parents had bought it with 5,000 miles back in 04 and it's been the family truck until we bought a 08 Suburban LTZ. My dad loved chrome back in the early 2000's so once I got ahold of it I really changed the look. I...
I had the halo headlights for a while but didn't like the look anymore and I've noticed a lot of people started to get the same one so I wanted to switch it up and I've gotten a lot of compliments.
I was testing out my new camera and thought she looked pretty good. I bought a second-hand HD hood that I'm waiting to find someone to help me prep for install. Don't ask me why I had to put a mismatched color hood on, it been there for years, and its finally time for it to go :Big Laugh:
Update: Iv'e done more research and a buddy of mine has a Snap-on scanner that could relearn both the crank and cam position sensors; I'm going to give that a try. What do you think of the fuel trims, @Fless
So I put together this video of all my fuel trim data in this video, check it out and tell me what y'all think. I recorded it at idle and revved around 2k rpm which is where the CEL will flash for p0300 as shown at the end.

Thanks guys, I'll give it a shot and keep you guys updated. And I'm sure the lifters are going bad also not just one, I did some research and there was always a ticking sound that got gradually worse.
At first, it would go away once the truck was warm but now it sounds like...
I have and if I'm being honest I know nothing about that type of stuff. I'll borrow a scanner and do some research on reading fuel trims and check it out. What would the fuel trim values need to be for it to be running properly?
Also, I had a buddy install my new cats, the truck drives a lot...
The needle jumps straight to 45 psi when I put the ignition on and 55 psi when I pull the vacuum line off the FPR and rev it a little. I bought an Acdelco fuel pump, I think the part number was MU1321 but I'm not sure. I kind of wish I had tested the fuel pressure right after I installed it but...
I've been fighting with a p0300 (multiple cylinder misfire) code for a while so I had recently replaced my intake manifold gasket along with knock sensors w/ new harness, and while my fuel rail was out, I had the injectors cleaned by a professional with new o rings and filter for each one. The...
I'm 99% sure my cats are clogged in my 2003 GMC Yukon Denali and I'm having trouble trying to find a good replacement for my truck. Some of them don't come as a full Y-pipe while others that are sold with both left and right pipes don't seem to have a way to connect them back similar to OEM...
Thanks for your help guys, I never knew about the RPO codes until now. I was looking at the list of all the codes on that website and it's pretty cool. It now makes sense to me why the 6.0 in my truck is called LQ4 :Big Laugh:
So if anyone were to ask me what differential/rear-end I have, it...
