My mechanic only recommends the OEM AC Delco brakes. I went cheap one time and dealt with a short life and squealing.
They are pricey, but beats constantly replacing. Dust isn't terrible. Brake performance is good for this large of a vehicle.
How is supercruise? Is it a shiny new toy that gets old or great tech? I'm trying to decide if I sav emoney and get a used 21 or 22 or go all out on a 23 with super cruise.
I've used the Yokohama Geolander A/T G015 on my Denali and previously on my Avalanche. They are a great all around tire. Good on the beach. Good in rain. Good in snow. They have a somewhat aggressive look to them without sounding like an airplane. My brother runs/ran the Nitto offroad tires...
I'm getting "Tighten gas cap" on some of my start ups on my 2015 Yukon. I haven't had a CEL or code.
Looks like I'll try and swap the gas cap and see if it fixes it.
I'm having a similar gremlin on my 2015 Yukon Denali XL 4wd. I just posted the issue and didn't get any feedback: https://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/threads/weird-drivetrain-sound.135445/
It sounds very similar to what I'm experiencing. I've been explaining it as a metallic sound like a heat...
I've been having a weird sound periodically on my 2015 Denali XL 4wd. It would happen every few weeks about a year ago. It's happening more frequently.
It's a weird tinny / clunking sound. It sounds like a cover on the exhaust is loose. My mechanic and I couldn't find anything loose.
It...
In my case, nothing.
I took it to my mechanic. I believe a control module should be replaced to fix, but it would be expensive. They saw something about taking it apart, blowing out all debris and putting dielectric grease in. They tried it. It didn't seem to help right away. Then the issue...
So it's going to be $1200 from my local repair shop to do this.
$700 labor
$170 recharge
$330 parts
Is there a better way to fix this instead of replacing with the same OEM and failing every few years? I thought I saw they fixed this in 2017+. Can I use those parts, or will that make it a...
I called the dealer. They couldn't help.
1. They already repaired it. GM will only cover it 1x per vehicle
2. The Special Coverage Adjustment ended in 2019. GM isn't reimbursing.
My A/C quit working on me a few years back. Luckily it was fixed at no cost because of TSB 17336.
It looks like I have the same issue again. I'm putting AC to the lowest temperature setting and the truck is not getting any colder. I looked through the grill and can clearly see the crack...
Buying AC Delco doesn't mean you're buying OEM grade parts. They have a good / better / best product line setup.
Silver = imported items
Gold = better quality
OE = OEM best quality.
Are all used SUVs inflated right now or just the big GMs?
I hardly use the 3rd row and looking to downsize. I was thinking of going to a sportier 5 seater (Range Rover, GLE Coupe, X5, Porsche). Are those going to be inflated as well?
2015 "early" Denali: Your horn will honk if you step out of a running vehicle and take the keys.
I was looking forward to the child mirror/sunglass holder I had in a rental. My truck doesn't have it - but that may be because of the interior alarm.
