just curious. How much did the rear sag? Does your rig have rear auto leveling? I sold my Yukon but was amazed at how well it towed but I was only pulling 5500 pounds. I have a Sierra now but want to follow this thread.
I did and went back to stock. If you go passive replace the springs as the springs for auto leveling are very soft and you’ll bounce all over. You can get OEM shocks for a little more and keep your truck as it was designed.
Is GM declining the 6 year corrosion warranty because it’s not rusted through? I think the guys up north can answer better than I can but you can certainly replace any bolts with new. @Joseph Garcia lives up north. He may have some ideas.
Sounds like you’ve got it figured out. If your kit comes with drop shocks you won’t need the extenders but you will need resistors for the rear shocks or to pull that fuse. Yes the shorter bump stops are fine.
@Joseph Garcia snd I returned to the stock rear setup with the right shocks and...
Assuming you’re using spindles up front and springs out back. For 3” your on the edge of being ok. Some folks trim their bump stops. At 4” you’re into the territory of other considerations like sway bars or free travel mods. You’ll definitely need shock extenders. Are you keeping auto leveling...
I’m not sure which front spindles goes on a ppv but changing that keeps your suspension geometry in tact. Call Belltech or McGaughy. They’ll know what you need.
Have you done any other work that makes it more mainstream? If not It rarely happens that you get that money back. If you’re talking about a couple hundred bucks I’d say yes bc it may entice a non ppv customer. Otherwise ppv buyers know what they want.
I had a 07 Denali that didn’t have Z95 but it may have been an option. What do your rpo codes say you have? Go to gmpartsdirect and enter your VIN. It’ll give you the right part.
