Transmission fluid flush/change at 160,000 miles
Looking at a 2009 Tahoe LTZ. Has 162,000 miles. Maintenance has been kept up with as far as oil changes and things. In great shape! Transmission fluid has not been changed. I’ve read where some say at this high mileage don’t do it but some say you still should. Should i walk away on this...- Bcox

Looking at a 2011 Z71 with 129,000 miles. High miles for its age but seems to be taken care of based on the Carfax. Reg oil changes, transmission fluid changed, etc... they are asking $16,987. Also noticed on the backup camera there were no direction lines. Basically no lines to guide you...- Bcox

No clunk, just a whine. Doesn't do it in neutral only when I reach around 40mph during acceleration. If i let off of the pedal it stops, but then when I press on the gas again it starts. Its literally just during acceleration after reaching 35-40mph- Bcox

I have an 03 z71 and i get a humming/whistling sound when I get to around 40mph. Only hear it as I accelerate. If I take my foot off the gas the noise goes away, then comes back as I accelerate. I've done some research and some say it could be the carrier bearing, or a pinion bearing...- Bcox

Heat and Air problem...
gotcha. on rock auto website it shows an Acdelco unit for $118 and a Dorman unit for $150... Would you recommend the Dorman over ACdelco? -

Thank you for the reply!!!! When I have the AC on it blows cold, very cold. Just cuts in and out so I have to turn off the power, wait a few min and turn it back on. So if I'm correct in what your saying, I need to replace the control unit? -

I have a 2003 z71. My problem exists with both air conditioning and heat. I hope I can explain it to where it makes sense.... As i'm driving the heat/air (depending on winter or summer) will be fine, then it just cuts off. Still blows a little but not at the setting its set on. If I turn it... -
2003 Z71 air conditioning problem
Air blows cold. However, as I'm driving the air will basically stop blowing through the vents at a normal speed. It will barely blow. I can turn it off for about 2-3 minutes then turn it back on and it will blow like it should. Blower has been replaced, but still cutting in and out randomly...
