I'm not looking to have my Denali 'murdered' lol but I'm just not a huge chrome guy and am wondering what my vinyl/wrap options may be for the trim around the Windows? Is there anything the let's the chrome come through a bit but maybe grays it out instead of blacks it out? Thanks ImageUploadedByTapatalk1463615047.321087.jpg

It'll be hard, and probably look cheap I'd pop them off sand them down, and paint them to the color code you want. Those curves and edges will be hard to make it the natural look. Vinyl wrap is a pain in the ass when it comes to small stuff... but that's my opinion

How easily can the chrome trim be popped off and put back on? Can't imagine that is an easy task in itself either and why the vinyl wrap or plastidip way of doing it so popular.

Wonder if there is an aftermarket trim I could install instead. Like black chrome or something. I don't want it to be matte since I think that makes it look like rubber/plastic

I'm not sure if it has adhesive or clips holding it on. You can try to use the wrap first just look on ebay it may work. I'm not sure I've just had a lot of trouble when trying to wrap small components

I've tried looking and couldn't come up with anything as I want to do the same.

I don't know for sure either but I think the trim may be held in by clips and I would have to imagine it would be near impossible to get off without possibly breaking a few of them in the process.

I did just order some vinyl wrap from a site www.shadowlinetrim.com. Not to say the process is easy but they seem to layout the process pretty well on the website and it is fairly straightforward but tedious. They provide the wrap in rolls of 3-5" wide which would make it a bit easier to apply.

On second thought it may not be too difficult. Here is a video for some of the trim on a Silverado...

Im with you. Can vinyl be shiny though? I think I'd actually prefer a black chrome look....
