LED bar behind grill

Just installed a 32 inch bar behind the grill. Love the way it looks and it is very bright. I got the Opt7 C2 bar . It is aimed a little high but I will adjust it down.

This is the link for the bar. I chose to get the switch as part of the kit. Was $155 total. I ran the switch through the wall where the hood release wire goes through.

I am mounting the switch today. Based on the length of what came in the kit I will be putting it next to the headlight switch.

I think alot of the light would be deflected. Holes to small IMO. Thought about getting one for mine. I'll have to do some searching on the web....

This is it lit up behind the grill. Light shines through with no issues. More than enough to light up whatever you need.

The grill was not hard. This video shows how to remove the grill.

Hmm, time to yell at my garage, they said they the 28" wouldn't fit behind my grill so went 20"

It still kicks out way more light than stock

Looks awesome. I just did the same thing to my 2016 Tahoe. I bought my kit on amazon. 32" curved LED bar. I also bought a flush round switch that fit perfectly n Ct to the factory light switch. Looks very clean. I had my local mechanic install it for me. They charged $75. Well worth it.
