Yeah Im not trying to bash them before anyone jumps my ass lol. I understand that people get busy, I get that way myself. However I have read alot about Wheatly tunes and I highly doubt that anyone could have a tune done by both tuners and feel any difference between the two. Charlie is an hour and a half away, he offered to tune the truck in person and go over all the autocal features with me. To me, that's customer service, and that's priceless :). I emailed him and was responded to within an hour, despite it being after midnight ( I am working nights so I was up, He was tuning a truck). On a Saturday....
We have an 09 G8 GT GXP 6.2 im gonna let him tune as well if the Hoe tune pans out. Ill definitely update everyone when I get the tune.

Good luck. I hope it works well for you.

Thanks Shawn, so do I. Off Topic, did you replace your Bose amp when you did your RE components? I just had my two AudioQue 12s put in the hoe (Ive had them in 3 vehicles and LOVE them), and only one door speaker works now. We noticed that someone had taken the bose speakers out and put in kickers. I thought when i first got it that they sounded off from the other two Bose systems I had, now I know why. I wanna replace all the door speakers and the bose amp (probably go with Exelons and a Hifonics amp), but Im not sure if I can just remove the bose amp. I have an aftermarket Deck.

I'm sorry but headers, intake and exhaust is mainly for sound lol. BUT they are great supporting mods for a cam and stall.

I did what you did, intake, exhaust and headers then got the tune and it was just more peppy than anything. Then I got a cam and stall and hello! now my fat pig moves. Then it should be gears and then boost.

But it gets expensive trying to make something this heavy fast. You would be better off building a silverado/sierra. OR 6.0/4L80 swap with a good cam and stall.

I'd rather have boost before a cam. Cam specifically designed for boosted applications = [emoji106]

Im aware, But man I really love my tahoe lol. I work in the oil field and Ive had SEVERAL trucks. But the comfort of the tahoe and the fact that several times Ive had to sleep in whatever I was driving (Tahoe sleeps pretty comfortable), plus the piece of mind of having all my equipment inside the truck and not just under a bed cover, and the addition of third row seating when I need it, have prompted me to just keep the Hoe and beef it up. I dont want my G8 GXP's performance in the tahoe, that wont happen without FI. But JEEZ this heavy ***** just doesn't wanna move at all lol.

I suppose its gonna be heads and a cam (doesnt make sense to not do both). Texas Speed has some nice combos around the 1600-2000 mark. I just really expected more out of the headers lol.

Oh I feel you on that man. I love my Suburban to death. And for a heavy SUV my burb takes out cars that even I'm surprised about.

I have about 380 to the wheels and it's just awesome taking out mustangs and pretty much any honda lol while having 4 friends in my truck.

Lol it all depends on how fast you want it to be... And how deep your pockets are. I just wanted a little more pep and more efficient... If you want 10sec 1/4's then get ready do dig real deep lol...

As for the Bose amp mine doesn't have it. However you already have an aftermarket radio so you can bypass it easily by hooking your speakers directly to the radio or adding a amp. As for kicker speakers.... Have had a few different pairs and can say I will never buy them again. I'm really happy with my RE components, also pioneer D series for stuff around the $100 mark.
