I'm looking to install hid lights and would like feedback on a where to purchase, are the ones on ebay any good? Or which stores offer quality for the right price. Thanks in advance.

Finally finishing my retro it's hands down the best thing I've done. Running one hid in oem housing and one retro housing with the same K, it's a night and day difference. The light output is amazing, if you think your lighting things up by just putting hids in your oem HLs that's about what one retro'ed HL puts out. Retro all the way.

I'm currently working on my 2nd version of my retrofit and definitely can say hands down a retrofit is the way to go. If price is an issue you can buy the generic mini h1 projectors from Amazon for $45ish and they are well worth it.

I have always been happy with the prices and quality from iJDMToy as well. Soulsea's excellent write up on HID lighting is a must read!! Don't stick a HID kit in a stock housing!! Retrofit!!

Or you could buy 4 VVME kits off Ebay for the same price

I used to think the same way, still own a couple vvme kits. If going into a projector then spring for oem or morimotos hid kits. If your going to stick them in stock reflectors just buy cheap vvme...

I have used both, while its hard to stomach $150 for a hid kit, after owning both I see it's well worth it.
