Window Defroster

Quick random question, I've got an XL 2500 and there is a defroster on the rear right side window yet not on the left. Anyone have an idea about why???

Because when you change lane you would turn to see from your right, but realistically couldn't turn you head around to see out the left rear window so it would be pointless to defrost it.

Is there a way to disable it? I am planning on a few window mount antennas needing to be placed, two a side due to propagation. While I would drill through the roof, I cant get into my garage with antenna's on the roof.

Dont know about disabling it, but I know I had my tint installer scrape mine off with a razor before tinting the window, b/c the actual lines were peeling up long ago.

I always thought that was the radio antenna in the rear passenger side window? Is it not? I havent had the Tahoe over a winter yet so I havent used the rear defrster to see if it defrosts more than just the rear widow

I thought the radio antenna was integrated into the shark fin.
