Does anyone use a security camera to record activity with their vehicles at night? If so I could use some advice on buying one. It has to be able to work at night since thats when i believe the tampering is taking place.

Get a pitbull and a motion sensor flood light like me. Works like a charm.

He indicated elsewhere in chat that it was for mounting on a building structure not a vehicle mounted unit and even expressed a liking for such a device that is for indoor structure use only and must at least usb power at all times or its a/c power adapter to run constantly. furthermore we have a electronics sub forum for that stuff as it relates to vehicles and one for non actual vehicle tech talk as well. don't get me started about richard with you.:D

its to catch someone tampering with my 1994 - 1999 model truck. Lol Seems like a general topic. Im considering a viper alarm with remote start and all the goodies as well in the near future.

those alarms are a waste on money on a 90s tahoe/yukon IMO

I would tint the windows and don't leave anything in the open that is worth stealing.

If you want an alarm look at code alarm that's what I have with remote start, have the horn for it outside and one under the dash so if u attempt to brake in you'll go nuts if your in there lol
