First off :sorrysign: I know I have been asking a lot of questions lately but im trying to get all my ducks in a row.. I bought my rims and looking for wheel locks. i went to a local rim shop and told them i want to run 3 different locks. He told me it would be a waste of money because wheels locks are really easy to remove without the key. I kind of believe him because why would he refuse making money. Any thoughts on this

If you guys think he was wrong these are the 3 sets im going to run. Would these fit? I noticed some are acorn and some are cone not sure if that makes any difference

To be honest if the thief is good and wants your wheels he will probably get them no matter which ones you have. I run two locking lugs on each wheel and the rest are just normal lug nuts. I run GM factory locking lug nuts.

Ya thats true but my logic is if they actually cant take the truck and just try to take the rims its going to take them A LOT longer and probably would give up or get caught before that happen. Really not sure if different locks patterns would slow them down because I dont know how they by pass it.

It wouldn't take much longer for a decent thief.

The only thing locking nuts are going to stop are people not knowing what they are doing.

Just get good insurance, don't worry about it and you will sleep good at night.

All theives do to bypass the lock are hammer a cheap socket over the locking lug nut and take it off like that... Wouldn't really slow them down but would deter the retarded ones....
