Love the way the rear end looks now. I really want to do this mod since we don't get rain over here and it's kind of a pointless wiper.
Nice job on the front clip as well.

Thanks. The hardest part is my lifgate is aluminum so I have to panel bond pieces of sheet aluminum, and use a bondo gun to inject filler into the space inbetween the sheet aluminum and the hatch, so when the panel bond shrinks you wont see it as much.

And yes I agree it is a pointless wiper, all its good for is making you pay an extra $10 when you get your state inspection done.

I like the look of the shaved rear wiper as well but would never do it because in Oregon rain is a way of life and that wiper is worth it's weight in gold!! lol

Looks good but you should have shaved the whole thing. I would love to completely shave mine.

Didnt have the money for poppers to shave the window button or the handle. Farmers insurance paid for it I got hit in the right quarter, and it damaged the liftgate so I did some extras.

I love the gate minus the stupid window scratcher......i mean wiper. I will never use a rear wiper, wish there was an easier way to get rid of it!

Gotcha. Still looks good though.

Yeah I really hate that freakin wiper on the back. I could deal with capping off the motor hole but it such that the holes for the holder are still there.

Very nice! That looks great! I use mine, but wouldn't mind doing the mod really, I just bought a full set of RainX latitude blades front and rear and the new blade doesn't really do any better than the old worn out one, it still streaks. The front are great and work better than any I have had, but that back wiper absolutely SUX!!!
