for all you will spend to have all these shops install this stuff you could have the truck shipped to me and i'll do it for nearly nothing...beer fees apply.

A local tranny shop stated that he wouldn't install my servo or shift Kit without first rebuilding my tranny (I have approx. 199k....original tranny/miles). I was quoted $1800 for a REBUILD and the installation of the parts I was dropping off. I hopped in my Hoe and eased on down the road. BTW.......my trucks runs/shifts sweet......just trying to be proactive!!!!

so mom went today to tranny shop to get servo installed....$$450 so i was pretty pissed off about that......

If you paid $450 to have a 1-2 vette servo installed you should be banned form the site for being such a sukka'. Dude, it's an hour job at most if you have never seen a transmission before. I hate to be "that guy" but I get so frustrated when I am over here saving every extra penny to get one thing done at a time and doing most of the work myself and I see stuff like this people paying mad cash for easy jobs. Seriously it's a $20 part a shop should only charge $30-$60 on the high end. You should ask the hourly labor rate and go off that, it is a 20min job for a shop.

Yeah but the same thing could happen to him and he'd be at $2,450
nothing to do with the install..........you just had some unfortunate luck but you'll have a bad ass tranny when it's done!
