Ok...usps lost the light sensor in the mail somewhere, so the ebay seller sent another one and I received it today.

For those that were wondering about the install...it took 5 minutes, no tools required.

1. Pop up the dash piece with the light sensor, it wont come all the way out because of the A pillars.
2. It will be loose enough to squeeze your hands in there and dont worry about breaking the dash, it is forgiving. Twist the sensor counterclockwise to get it out, push the tab down to pull the plug/wiring off of the sensor.
3. Snap the new sensor in the plug, and do everything in reverse from there.

Havent had a chance to test it out to see if that fixed my problem....I will update tomorrow with the outcome.

Glad to hear its an easy install. Looking forward to hearing if it solves the problem. Hopefully it does.
Thanks for keeping us updated, and I'm glad the ebay seller made it right even though it wasn't their fault.

As dark as DFW was today it would not be a good day to judge it. By Sunday you should know for sure.

Yeah I need a few more days to really confirm if its working well or not, but the overcast days and sunset is when it was pissing me off most the time, so one of those days down now i just need a few sunsets to test it with....

Alright, I'm bringing this back from the dead. I finally got sick of my lights being on 90% of the time and ordered this. Went from the same ebay seller as the dealer wanted $49 for the same part. Hopefully this works but for $13 it doesn't hurt to try.

Mine has been annoying to the point that lately I manually turn off the headlights when it is barely overcast. I think I may see how your results are and order one.
