Just got my exhaust all finished up. Ended up going with an SLP tips with the rear resonator delete and a Borla muffler. Sounds great with the CAI. Highly reccomend this mod for people looking to do an exhaust without paying $1K for a cat-back.

Yea, look foward to hearing.

So what did it end up costing you if you don't mind me asking?

Sounds like a good price expect the tip seems to be really high to me. I should start looking into an exhaust.

So you used the stock pipe then.

Sort of. The tip comes with a tail pipe that slips over the stock pipe about
8" behind the rear resonator. So you have to cut the stock pipe off behind the resonator to get rid of that, and then it slpis over the stock pipe. The I went back a few weeks later and had them do the Borla muffler. So it is stock pipe for the most part.

Here is the link to the tip. It is basically identical to the Corsa tips

Quality tips are not cheap. This one especially because it is a the whole tip assembly. All stainless steel double wall and dual outlest

That looks great but seems kinda pricey...maybe that's just me.

Naw, what he spent isn't that much. I ended up getting the Magnaflow exhaust sytem for around the same price of his total, paid $80 for the install and I bet you his has more roarrrr then mine.

I could agree with the tip being pricey but it's worth it. I was going to buy and use that one insted of the one that came with the cat-back but hell I just spent $375 for that, I wasn't going to spend another $150 for just a tip. :signs8:
