Can anybody post pics of what a 2in leveling kit in the front would look like. I am about to have the work done to my tahoe and havent owned it for that long. I know I need to get a front end alingment after the work is done but anything else i need to know. I have a greystone tahoe with blacked out windows, 22 in chevy black rims, a sound system that i just got completed several weeks ago. I will post pics of it later on today

Welcome!

What is your actual difference in wheel well gaps now? I ask because I think 2" will give the impression that the truck is leaning backward. I added a 1" ReadyLift to my front (you can set it to 1", 1.5", or 2"), and I think it's just right. There's still a tiny bit of rake, but these trucks' lines were designed with some rake in mind.

Some kits come as 2.5" in the front with a 1" rear spacer for a net front lift of 1.5". If you're keeping your 22"s, then I doubt that's the way you want to go.

Sounds like the adjustable ReadyLift might be the ticket for you.

I believe the front would be less than .5 in higher. I am having the work done at a place called the mud hole in new orleans. However this was the only leveling option I had from them. The parts and labor are going to cost me around 250 so i thought its a good deal.

That might be THEIR only leveling option, but it's not YOUR only option. My installer knew of the ReadyLift kit, but not of the adjustability of the one kit until I showed him. So, sometimes these guys aren't up to date on all of the options out there, even though they otherwise know what they're doing.

Wait -- what do you mean by "I believe the front would be less than .5 in higher"? Higher than the rear? That will NOT look right, if that's what you're saying. The truck will definitely look like it's leaning backward if the front is even the slightest bit higher than the rear.

I also figured that the 2in might look better than the 1.5in. the more height the better. Whats your thought

Maybe you typed this as I was typing my other response, but no, I don't think that's true in this situation. You've got to maintain a little bit of stagger from rear to front.

Is there any pics of the 2in leveling kit in front with no modifications to the back?

Yeah I have only the front rancho lift (2 inch) an it seems to lean back a little, but I also removed my rack.

I am looking to level my 2013 Z71 4WD Tahoe. The rough country 2" spacer kit is what I am going towards. Would I be able to fit 285/70/R17 tires and would trimming be necessary. If so where would I have to trim?
