I want to lower my truck, maybe airbag system, but should I lower a 4x4? I have 24's on it and the truck sits about 5 in. in the rear and 4 in the front over them! They look so small, but Im not sure if I should lower or get 26's to try and fill up the wheel well for that look. suggestions?

I'd say not airbags but a regular McGaughys 3/5 drop should just about fill you with the 24s you have!
Do know that lowering a 4 x 4 can be a PITA!!!

What did you use or where did you get the lowering kit from? Can you tell a big difference in the ride?

Ride is a bit worse, but I need to cut my bumpstop brackets out and install some lower profile stops...funny since I've done it on a half dozen trucks and still not my own. Front is dropped via 2" belltech drop spindles and 3/4 ton torsion bar keys. Rear is belltech 5" springs with isolators removed and the coil buckets beaten to hell for the most possible drop without bags. I'd do a 2/3 drop with spindles if you can afford it, 3/5 you have to start doing all kinds of extra crap but it's worth it.

Here is my opinion- Why? Why, drop a 4x4? Yeah, a 2 wheel drive but a 4x4 was made for a lift. I have a 2001 4x4 Tahoe LS and I am going with a set of American Racing Wheels BAJA's with TOYO 285/75R16's. Looks just as good (To me atleast) Then 24's and a lowered 4x4.

Just my .02

i think you will be happier with the drop then you would be with the bigger rims.... thats my opinion... i have seen plenty of 4x4 tahoes dropped... im planning my drop VERY soon
