Yiiies, the tray is a good way to hide the catastrophic melange of items residing underneath.

Did I just say 'melange' in a truck forum? :supergay:

junk

the black "felt" crap gets all over your stuff. I almost accidently put a CD covered in that black fuzz in the DVD thing... i'm sure it would have been a warrenty claim, but still. placing objects in your center console should not cause them to become covered with a black fuzz in a $60,000 SUV!!!

Front Floor Console Organizer
Make better use of the front center console storage bin with this removable organizer. Designed for exact fit, this organizer transforms the tall bin into a two-tiered storage compartment. Larger items can be stored below the organizer, while smaller items, such as CDs, DVDs, cell phones, etc. can be stored in the organizer itself.

I bought one of these a couple years ago. I have to say it's the best Mod I have done.

Do you have a better picture of the OEM unit? From the pics it looks like it just divides the console in half?

I found some chicken wing bones in mine from almost a year ago. It's a rats nest in there. :)

i ordered the EBONY one from the ebay link.

and it was black plastic. it just sets on the top lip, and divides the space in half

it's a tad bit annoying, because you have to lift it out, and find a place to set the top so you can scrunge around in the bottom.

but i love it, it's much better than 6 inches deep of junk :)

Just got my Tahoe and found the huge console less that ideal. Will get one of these. Thanks for the pics.

Oh' any reason you guys are getting them from eBay and not just the local dealer? It looks like the eBay ones are slightly more expensive when you pay for shipping.

My local dealership had one in stock and I grabbed it for $29.75. Very happy with it. Thanks for posting information about this unit.

Here's a couple pics I took
