I hate all of you people with 2 door 'Hoes.

I see them for sale occasionally, but never when I'm a position to move on one.

My brother had a nice 95 2 door that he sold for a steal and didn't even give me chance to buy. :emotions122:

Correct me if I'm wrong, but your model only came with badges, no side trim, right? I really like how yours looks.

I'm on a tight budget right now, so not much is going to be done with it for a while. Oh well. I've put 80K miles on it like it is, a few more won't hurt.

whippled---what size tires and wheels did you wind up going with? What offset did you use? It looks like you have dropped it too, is that recent? Did you ever put the 6.0 in?

ProCompTahoe, what did you do to upgrade that 4L60E? I'm currently running a 32 inch E range tire, but if I decide to lift and add some more tire, I have no doubt the tranny's gonna need something. Of course, it's gonna need gears, too, since I've got 3.42s now.

I seem to have an innate capability to choose trucks with crappy gearboxes. My last truck was a Dodge 4x4 that last 60K miles before the 360 wrung the transmission out from under it.

i had everything listed out on the other computer but it ate the hard drive. had a friend rebuild it with everything i could find. hardened shafts, 5 gear planetaries, heavy duty clutch packs, etc. supposed to handle waaay more than the stock engine could ever throw at it.

4.88's FTW!

What kind of gas mileage do you see with the 35s? I'm getting 15-16, but I think if I had 3.73s or 4.10s, I'd do a little better.

Wheels are 20"x8.5" Boss 330 in silver. Offset is +20mm I believe. I've always had a drop. I use to have the Belltech 4x4 drop kit (drop keys and drop leafs). Now I have a modified DJM 4dr tahoe shackle/hanger kit in the rear and the same belltech keys up front. Total drop is about 2/4 maybe a tad more.

The 6.0L is still on the stand, hopefully I can find some time in October to install it.
