Sooooo... update.

Dock is like 95% done. They are finishing up the upstairs cable rails and the rails of the pier, stairway, etc. Tuesday the boat lift goes in, that should all be done by Wednesday.

Only thing left is electrical. Only downside is it's been hard to get an electrician out there to get started. The best one I have is 3-4 weeks out, so is what it is.

We also are adding a storage closet under the stairs so that will be built shorty.

Lake level is approaching about the 4.5'-5' below normal levels mark. Sucks, but we are in deep water where my dock is so no real complaints so far. But since its so low, we are still on standby for the wave runner portion of our dock.

Anyhow, here's some pics so far. Dont mind my neighbors sunken dock. They are old, debating on seeing if they want me to have it scrapped for them. There's actually an old pontoon boat underneath it.

Also got word from the architect that Round 2 of the Phase 2 CAD work should be done in the next week or so.

I wonder what people think with that epic dock built with the double wide on the land behind it? There has to be people thinking Billy Bob hit it big on the scratch offs as they tootle by on their pontoon boat LOL

It’s a manufactured home, not a trailer. Trailers have axles. This has a foundation. So judgemental.

not sure if its rough cut or not, but they are all pressure treated aside from the deck itself which is some sort of PVC cool decking stuff. We are gonna stain the wood portions a darker color once everything settles. The main pilings are all 8x8. I'm also debating on skirting the deck in a darker PVC.

Boat lift delivered and installed today.

Spoke to electrician last night about the dock power. Should have it all wrapped up by 6/12. Scheduling boat delivery for that day as well.

Back to the electrical...

They have to run new underground power from the sub panel at the house to the new sub panel at the dock. Adding a 50a sub panel at the dock and then running 220 to the main boat lift and 120 to the PWC lift (when it's installed). Adding LED lighting under the boat slip area that can be turned on via switch on the dock or remote switch on the boat for nighttime dock approach. Adding 3 outlets upstairs. Adding 50 flush mounted LED pucks everywhere there is a piling that shines up the posts. There's also an extra outlet where each control box is for the lifts so we can add battery maintainers for the boat/pwcs. There is a storage closet being built right now, so there will be an LED light inside there with an outlet inside too, all switch controlled.

And lastly, they are going to run CAT6 cable from the house to the storage closet where I'll install my Eero mesh extender for wifi out on the dock, as well as control the dock mounted security cameras.

I'll be up there in about 2 weeks to take delivery of our boat and bring our PWCs up. A lot of logistics involved but happy to finally be getting this project completed and taking a breather.

The only thing we did not add on the list is this blue underdock lighting, but something tells me I am going to add it...
