Intermittent reduced engine power 2012 tahoe

I have a 2012 Tahoe. For the past year plus i am constantly getting a check engine light with reduced engine power code P2138. My mechanic has fixed everything. Pedal, sensors, all the wiring, throttle body and finally the ECM. Got 2500 miles out of the last fix but of course it happened again. Does anyone have an idea?? I am about to get rid of my truck. Not happy about it. I have kept in in great shape

Were the replacement parts quality parts?
No way to tell without some diagnosing.
If you have a scanner that can log pedal and throttle signals might help..
If not, about the only thing you can do is a visual inspection.
(check the plugs for corrosion/loose pin receptacles/broken insulation on wires)

All OEM parts. 2 different mechanics have run all the diagnostic tests. There was a bulletin put out about water intrusion, but its all dry. Plugs are new. Maybe the coil packs?? I dont know. I am not mechanically savy. I hate to get rid of this truck. Fits my needs perfectly. New one is so expensive

Was the ECM replacement necessary to fix this problem the first time? Or just part of the search?

Or wiring wasn't fully fixed, but got disturbed enough to feel fixed for awhile..(since all parts were replaced)

Since you said 'finally the ECM', I wonder if it has to do with the wiring or pin tension there.. (I've heard ECM failure is fairly rare)

Maybe unwrap the wiring near ECM, make sure the wires look good, tweak the pin receptacles in the plug if possible, to make sure there is good tension for the pedal and throttle circuits.

Since the code is for the pedal, might check the wiring and connection there one more time too.. (and bend receptacles for more tension)

Internet search says the connection at the pedal assembly, or pedal assembly itself are the most common causes..
