So, I have had my Yukon XL AT4 Ultimate for a few months now and can not find anything about closing the back hatch other than pressing the button or with the remote. It does the auto open after the 5 beeps. Am I missing something? It is a real PIA when unloading and your hands are full.

I really miss the kick under the bumper sensor.

I didn't know it was removed. I turned mine off on my High Country Suburban because it would open after I washed my car and was drying it. That was a pain to have it open when I would dry the truck.

That's how the wife's 24 acadia acts, i think most of the manufacturers are getting rid of the foot under sensor due to cost and customer complains due to to many accidental opening

I just turned it back on. I turned it off because I couldn't clean the snow off without it opening up. Spring is here so I am learning to use it and walk away quickly when it starts beeping to prevent from opening when letting the dog out....

I get them moving from the kick sensor, my wife could never get it to work with short legs and little feet. My size 14's had no problem finding the sensor beam...
