I know Toyotas get all the love in terms of reliability and longevity but I think these gmt800’s are right there with them, if not better
I agree about the 2000’s Toyotas….. But the new full-size Toyota trucks are having engine issues… The non- V8 engines can’t handle the use as a truck engine.
I was told to stay away from them…. I LOVE my ’05 Yukon…..

I should have meant the older ones , also older lexus
The new turbo engines are no good, watched a tear down of one recently and it would be a $5k water pump job
Not to mention they’re crapping out

Wait, what? $5k water pump? That's insane!

A coworker just bought at 2024 Tundra, he said pre-owned, with something like 40k miles...of course, based on the reliability of his mid 2000s Cambry...

Just going from what I heard….. The full-size tucks with their smaller engines were an issue…...
I can guess, the V8 is nice…..

Just putting this out there. I am looking for a 2000 to 2006 GMT800 K1500. No rust, extended or crew cab, short bed, 5.3 or 6.0 or even a 4.8. NO RUST and close to my area in Eugene, Oregon. Within a 200 mile area would be nice. Prefer low miles but 100k to 150k is good but above all else, except the NO RUST, I want to see repairs and maintenance records. No wrecks. Minor dings are ok.

I know I had the recent 2004 K2500HD perfect truck recently but was more truck than my girl could handle. If anyone knows of something, let me know. Thanks. Cash of course.

I recently did a PCV valve on a 2020 Corolla 2.0, non turbo. Had to remove the intake plenum for access. About a 2 to 2.5 hour job.
