Hello! New guy here. We just purchased a 2007 Suburban Ltz with the L76 6.0. It has a Rough Country leveling kit and these shocks on the rear that I have never seen before. Was wondering if someone could identify what these are?

Thank you!

Might try calling Rough Country and see what they sell for their kits stock shocks won't work because of length increase in height.

Thanks.

I don't see a name on them. Appear to be a load adjusting shock. Apparently the Autoride has been bypassed because I noticed resistors zip ties to the front strut towers

Unless there is writing or numbers on the shock, it will be difficult to identify them by brand or model. You've received a good suggestion to contact Rough Country to see what they would typically sell in a mod like that, as it could have come from them as part of the leveling kit.

Those are goofy load assist shocks that people put on their SUVs when the air system fails or when they sag too much when towing. It’s the wrong way to accomplish a goal in my opinion.
