Thanks to all that replied. We will see if I can get the High Country tomorrow. It's a busy day for us. We need to work on a final price yet. The BS of having to finance to save a few dollars. I always thought cash was king. Retired for 5 years now, I have no credit.
Yep. Today finance and credit is king. They gave me “employee” pricing which was like 4k off sticker.
When I bought my 26 RST it was a 90k truck. I drove out of there without putting $1 down. Technically my down payment was $1500 but it was a $500 rebate for opening a GM card and they charged $1000 to the GM card lol.
IMO it’s not smart to pay for a depreciating asset in cash; you are way better off with the cash in investments/real estate and making payments on the truck with a “low” APR. meaning APR less than you are making in investments. I could have bought the truck cash but it would be a moronic move.
