Is 15.2/15.1 volts when it's not that cold weird?

I know there's dynamic voltage charging with things like battery charge, cold, etc impacting how it responds, but 34 degrees F with a fully charged battery seems weird to stay at 15.1/15.2 volts for a 10 min drive. Is this going to fry something?
Eventually it got down to a more reasonable 14.3, but honestly even that seems unnecessarily high

The computer system knows more than you do. It's running at full output and follows an algorithm to keep a discharged battery from leaving you stranded.

In the morning, before starting the car, put a voltmeter across the terminals and see what the voltage is. Compare that to your ambient temperature to determine the battery's state of charge. Below 65% and the battery ought to be replaced.
