I’m now on my second set of powerstop Z36 rotors and pads. I love them and haven’t had a single issue. They last a good long time which for me in the mountains and towing is great. Their pads make very little dust which I love. I can drive down off the mountain for a dance night and come home and my wheels aren’t totally black from brake dust which is a big plus. They’re super quiet and rotors have never warped. I can’t speak to the Wagner brand a si haven’t used them but love my powerstop setup. I upgraded to GMT900 spec calipers and rotors for fronts and they calipers are good quality as well.

Found a snowy parking lot and spun the rear wheels a bit. Traction control overreacted as usual and no radio dimming. Did my temporary ground help? I dunno… Maybe it did.
Tossed a new battery in it today. Guessing the Bosch in it was maybe from 2018??? It’s not marked in any way. Bought a Continental battery from my trusted local parts guys for $136 and some change. Research says these guys are partnered with Stryten Manufacturing. Stryten is operating the old Exide plant in Salina KS.
Some links below:

Well, this battery died 18 days before the warranty expired. Not sure I want another one as it gave me very little warning. Plus I already put a new Interstate in it tonight. I had to leave it locked and running in parking lots to finish my errands today.

I installed Powerstop pads and rotors on the front this time. Should have done that to begin with. Wasted good money on crap parts. The rears are still raybestos but will be powerstop later too

My guy warrantied it. Just took it back and refunded me.

What brand rotors and pads were these?
They were Raybestos Geomet coated. I warped them about 13k miles in and I ran another 13k before replacing the rotors under warranty. The pads had life so I roughed em up and ran em. The warranty rotors warped again at about 18k. I ran them until the warping got so I couldn’t stand it and then I replaced the front wholesale for Powerstop.

The rears are the same Raybestos geomet units.

Element3 pads. They squealed their entire lives.

I have the exact same experience with Raybestos. Rotors warped early on and the pads squealed like a pig for 10k miles. They finally quit. I'm going with something else soon.

Hi Guys! Been a while. I think it’s time to consider replacing my Michelin MTX M/S tires. I have about 40k miles on them and am down at 4/32” tread. I have noticed a measurable drop in wet performance this fall. Anyone liking the LTX M/S2?
I just put them on my Burb about 6k miles ago. So far so good. I got about 78k miles out of the last LTX M/S I had on there. They are rated at 70k miles.

The LTX m/s is also rated at 70k but there is no way these are good for another 30k. Here in snow country once you hit 4-5/32 I get concerned about winter performance.
