Just replaced transmission, Billet TC and tuned for 1st-4th lock out, calibrated speedometer. Never knew how awesome these can really drive!! '12 SSV, AFT/VVT delete, CAI, Cat Back. Love this damn Tahoe.

Could be because the flex fuel algorithm was buggier in the early models, that it became standard practice to disable virtual flex..
But I heard it got better maybe '10+ or so...

That's what the tuner said, the guys recommended changing it for the tune, then gave me the option of switching back afterwards. I chose to stick with 93 just for not having to drive 15-20 minutes for the nearest flex
