Mine's a 2500, no struts. Top post shocks, the connector snaps onto the top of the shock.
I have resistors for the rear, but I found a pair of OEM autoride shocks (cost half what the truck's worth, too) it seems by reading that they would work on the front if soldered in.

What I'd really like is to find a pair of OEM Autoride front shocks, but I can't even find the OEM part number for them. Next stop is my local ****** GM dealer who will probably lie about checking national inventory.

RPO sticker posted upstream
Check with @915_Tahoe for a part number.

Where are you located, there 4 dealers in the states that have the rear shocks. But nobody has the fronts.
Thanks a ton. I already found a set of rears. Sad about fronts, I guess, can I put the resistors over standards in the front without disconnecting the ride sensors, or losing the rear autoride?

I'm in S. Florida but I get to EP a few times a year. Next time out we'll take you to dinner at Victoria's in Canutillo.

so, you are z55 autoride for a 2500 - which is different from z55 autoride for a 1500. I had a 1500. Leaf springs, and a different shock. I think that's gonna be hard. I don't know how the spring are different. I have a 2500 with z85 - if you can't get shocks, maybe go for z85 springs and shocks in rear.

When you add the resistors the shock doesn’t make any adjustments. The road feedback doesn’t get get seen by the computer their primary function is to keep your dash lights about traction and ride off. I can’t recall if anyone mentioned messaging @915_Tahoe about finding parts or numbers you can cross reference.

I understood it the same - add resistors to free you up to use shocks of your choice. But on the 1500's the rear spring rate for sure needs to match the new shock. I was never happy with the ride in the front after the front autorides were gone. not seeing Z55 was a good point on the 2500.
