I don’t understand, did you have another engine failure?Nowhere, the car is in the service center where I service my Yukon, for defect detection. Restyling 2025.

We need more information, we need to disassemble some 2025+ engines, and watch the 2025 cars. But for now, everything looks very strange. Was it a bottom end failure?
But those folks had one of the bad engines. If you don't have a bad engine, then why would they extend your warranty the same way they will for potentially-bad [in the range] engines?Who is to say that it won't develop a problem at 30K or 40K or........ I've read where some folks were doing fine and then out of nowhere so to speak the engine goes bad.
Thank goodness no, my engine is fine. In the service where my Yukon is serviced, there is a car produced in January 2025 with a 6.2 engine, which broke down at a mileage of 3000 km.I don’t understand, did you have another engine failure?
Yes sir - it's hard to separate 'recall worries' vs 'regular worries'. Even under normal manufacturing circumstances - things fail. My 2021 6.2L has 62K miles and running fine but 'could fail' as 62K doesn't mean it's OK. Sigh... life is a crap-shoot sometimesThank goodness no, my engine is fine. But your personal '22 recently experienced a failure correct?Thank goodness no, my engine is fine. In the service where my Yukon is serviced, there is a car produced in January 2025 with a 6.2 engine, which broke down at a mileage of 3000 km.
Yes, it is, I described this situation in the neighboring topic of this forum. I got a new engine. But your personal '22 recently experienced a failure correct?
Many of us don't live near a dealership where it's feasible to travel for every oil change. If they are a GM "dealer" of any kind, their records are viewable within the system.
In case you aren’t aware, you can also enter DIY service into Carfax by signing up for an account at https://carfax.com. That is what I’m doing for oil/filter changes, tire rotations, etc.Don't most decent mom and pops chart oil changes into Carfax these days? I'd imagine a Carfax record is sufficient.
We dont report to Carfax when we perform oil changes and we are a dealershipMany of us don't live near a dealership where it's feasible to travel for every oil change.

What is the build date on the replacement engine?Yes, it is, I described this situation in the neighboring topic of this forum. I got a new engine.
142 day of 2024What is the build date on the replacement engine?
You need to look at the plate on the engineHow can I determine the build date of my engine?
Same story for me. Was at Cadillac this morning and they said there was no remedy for my VIN even though I received the notification via the app. This is INCREDIBLY frustrating the way this is being managed.Just had my 21 serviced and dealership stated they couldn't do anything about it because it has the "no remedy" on the recall. Not even the higher viscosity oil change up. Weird!!
Does anyone know any symptoms associated with the recall minus engine failure?
Ya'll are not alone and GM is probably still working through the list of VIN's. I have a 23' Yukon XL AT4 w/6.2L. App has it listed but no remedy at this time and when i search my VIN on the GM website it says the same thing.Same story for me. Thank you Mary Bad Beariing Barra.^^^ This!
At least now maybe we are covered a bit (save the inconvenience) if it happens. Need to coin a new term, here are some options:

Just trying to lighten the mood…happy Monday y’all
It's being managed like this cause their arent many parts in stock if you have to have the replacement engine cause the parts list is so damn long. We cant even get a 55 gallon drum of 0-40 oil yet.Same story for me. why? is it really that big of a problem with 0-40 oil? It's being managed like this cause their arent many parts in stock if you have to have the replacement engine cause the parts list is so damn long. We cant even get a 55 gallon drum of 0-40 oil yet.
