I'm ordering a 2025 Yukon XL AT4 w/ 3.0L LZ0, and I've been talking to 6+ dealers in Arizona since January trying to get agreement on pricing (using Supplier Discount, declining all dealer add-ons) and make sure I'm front of the line for an allocation. Order finally made it to "Your vehicle order has been accepted by GM and is working toward the production process" as of this evening - dealer said last week he thought my order got "picked up" but didn't actually get back to me with the order status code, and the GMC virtual agent was still saying "order not accepted" until today. I asked the live agent for the Order Status Event Code and they said they don't give them out... I'm assuming it's at 2000 but will have to try to pull that out of my sales guy this week.

In any case, after an incredibly long process, my order may finally be seeing some traction.

For those who have Target Production Weeks (order code 3000+) or have already taken delivery, how quickly did the order move from "Accepted" to getting a Production Week? I think I saw some posts saying 4-5 weeks, but am wondering if there's a chance to get hung up at this stage for another few months, or if that is (hopefully) lower risk. Waiting for the lucky roll of the dice for one of these dealers to get an allocation was already painful enough! Can't believe you can't just show GM the cash and have them build you a car!! Has forced a ton of conversations and negotiations with dealers over the last few months trying to get in a good position for an allocation... If anyone else is looking for Yukons in AZ, happy to compare notes on which dealers are stingy vs. reasonable on pricing, dealer add-ons, etc.
This whole process has been a joke

My dealer is expecting to get allocated 8 z71s this week so hopefully that means mine is one of them
My dealer did not have a Z71 allocation but did have a suburban (not z71, rst or Lt) with sunroof allocation. They put my z71 in as first choice and something else they wanted with zero constraints on it in second place and they got the z71 accepted. Then i had the option to add/adjust anything else not constrained which meant i could have flipped to the diesel. Some dealers are more conservative and not rolling the dice on something not guaranteed but not sure if this strategy only really works for big dealers with large allotments.

Mine was accepted in late Feb and built the week of 3/31. 3.0 High Country.

DC, any noticeable difference in the new LZ0, compared to your old rig?
Nothing yet, but only about 150 miles so far. Will report back after some highway miles. I do like the interior updates though - bigger screens, no transmission buttons, new dash.

ZERO Suburban Z71's with the 3.0 received allocation this week nationwide
Any updates for this past week? I ordered mine (Suburban Z71 3.0) in February and my dealer is telling me no build date yet. Kind of frustrating. I see some dealerships are now getting them for their inventory.

They are getting released nationwide now. My dealer has no idea when he will get more allocations for suburban. I really can't stand the way GM does this.

Have it "placed" at 3 dealers. It should not be this hard for GM to sell a vehicle to a willing buyer.

My HC 3.0 had a TPW of 3/31, finished on 4/3 and became "available to ship" on 4/16. Estimated arrival is not until 6/2 which seems like a long time. Hopefully it will get here before that.

I wouldn't be surprised if dealers don't catch on and actually bump the price on 3.0 Duramaxes over sticker. It's the only undisputed proven engine for these that hasn't left a trail of carnage behind itself for the last four years.....
