I got an update from my dealer today letting me know I’m at status code 3400, which based on some digging, sounds like I’m close to production. Unfortunately when I asked my dealer what my target production week is, he said he only sees status codes in their internal system and hasn’t seemed savvy enough to actually ask others at the dealership the true details that I’d like to know. In any case, I’m taking the 3400 code as a good sign that I’m probably a week or two out from my target production week; however, this does seem to have all moved fairly quickly, as the order was just accepted around 4/24. Any experience from others on how quickly orders move from 3400 to actually getting produced? If this is indeed moving quickly, hopefully others can maybe take it as a good sign that the pace may be picking up!
See full timeline below:
4/4 - Order submitted to dealer (3rd dealer I’ve been working with on this; the other 2 I had been talking to since January; really glad I went to them as the other 2 still haven’t gotten an allocation)
4/24 - 2000 or 3000 - Order accepted
5/2 - 3000 - Order accepted
5/9 - 3100 - Order available to sequence
5/16 - 3400 - Order broadcast for production (loaded on assembly plant computers)
