what GM was thinking ... there is only one sweet spot to remove oil pan , few youtube videos are helpful , lots of swearing and patience involved in this job , installation ? same thing !!
at last my magnet was clean , so no problem there .45K miles
took 6 qts of fluid , and 2 hours .(i need bigger ramps )

Next time just do a fluid exchange, all 12 or so quarts. No need to drop the pan.
