How's it going everyone, I'm new here. I just joined today because my parents have a '02 Yukon and need help trying to figure out what's wrong with the ride control system. My parents had a guy change the shocks, all four of them if that's any help, and after he did that the compressor for the air bags stopped working. I know it worked prior to that because I could here the compressor come on. We changed the relay and the fuse that's inside the fuse box, but that still didn't help. We tested the compressor, and it works. What do you guys think could be the problem? Also, are the suspension control modules off of an '02 Escalade the same as the one on the Yukon? I see they have the same part#. Thanks guys.

If you don't have the "Service ride control" message then you're fine.

Actually the "Service Rice Control" light is on. I'm gonna try to restart the computer and see if that helps. All of the connections are in their right places, I checked them myself.

Turns out that the compressor went bad. I ordered a new one to see if that fixes everything. The compressor I bought had a note saying that they recommend the air springs to be changed, what are they talking about?

if the shocks were bad for a while. the compressor goes dies. your airbags(shocks) were replaced so all what you have to replace now is the compressor. i replaced mine couple months ago and the install was pretty simple and easy.
