Tahoe Fog lights

I just purchased a 2024 Premiere and it doesn't have fog lights? Don't they have them?

I have a 2024 Tahoe that doesn’t have fog lights but there are 2 scored panels in the plastic trim below the bumper that look like they were made for fog lights. Pretty surprising that they didn’t come standard in the higher end models.

I plan to get some after market led fog lights installed there. If someone has any suggestions I would love to hear them.

No fog lights on Tahoes or Suburbans, its one of the things you get for the extra $2300 or so for a GMC.

Yup...is what it is. GM took the fogs off the Chevy's w/ this generation starting in 2021....pays to read the fine print in the features/specs section...

I have a ‘22 Tahoe RST that I bought new, no fog lights. I’ve been keeping my eyes on the ‘25 Tahoes and looks like fog lights have become a feature of the past with the newer Tahoes and Yukons. Definitely odd. I will add that when I drive at night 8/10 times, when I have a driver coming towards me and they’ll flash their high beams because the stock running lights are incredibly bright. Not sure why such a sought after feature (fog lights) that has historically been included with most all Yukon and Tahoe trims in the past is now not even an optional feature.

I put the high beam headlights in the lower grill. The light is very good.

GMC loves fog lights so much you have to manually turn them on each time you want to use them. No auto feature… stupid.

Curious, since it looks like you have a Z71 based on your profile pic, did you go with the second option that they describe as the "Bolt in design for the lower bumper"?

Yes, the bolt-in design. Still waiting for them to arrive. They also have ones that snap into the grill openings.

Based on the description on their site, it sounds like they go right here?

It says it replaces the trim piece directly above the recovery hook, but isn't the trim piece above/below/around the recovery hook all one piece?

Yes to all. Waiting to see. Sounded like they “flush mount” above the tow hooks.
