How good is the police Z56 package on the 2005 tahoe? I just found one at an auction in Florida. Does anyone else own one?

That depends on the condition it is today. Can you find any history /# of owners ? Sometimes the auction $$ may be a warning?
( I kinda like how stock it looks..... Maybe it wasn't screwed around with.

Looks great but I would be concerned about her life history. Police are not easy on their vehicles. Just be careful.

True, but fleet maintenance is usually pretty good--usually.

Mileage is 182000. Everything works. Came from auction with fresh oil and almost new Michelin tires. I assume the city really took good care of this. Drives perfectly!!!

I also think you found a good one. Everybody should know that Police Aucions that are acutioning off Police vehicles, are not the same as the junk you find at commercial auctions where dealers are dumping their junk vehicles

Came directly from Tavares Police Dept. Owned since 2005.

Do what I dd with my PPV.. Call the dept and ask for the fleet operations manager. Ask them if they have records on their previous vehicles and if they could give you any information on a particular vehicle you are trying to purchase. Give him/her the vin number and hopefully you get full records like I did.
