Taking the seats out of these is pretty easy. 4 bolts on each front seat. Basically one at each corner of the seat frame. And then a couple wire harnesses to disconnect under each. Never removed second row seats but I know it’s not challenging. If you have hand tools like sockets, ratchet, and screwdrivers you can take seats out.

You can also run a vacuum for a few minutes, to let the turbine in it warm up, and then put the vac hose on the exhaust outlet and blow warm area into all the small areas like under seats and over all the carpets.

I don’t have a shop vac but I’ll try to find one. I think my best option is pop the doors at night when humidity is at its lowest.

If anyone has experience as far as insurance, I have progressive full coverage but not sure if I should make a claim as the damage so far is minimal electrical stuff. Nothing major so far.

Anyone know how to take the center console panels apart to let the modules in the center dry out? So far I got the cup holder area open. Where the harness is. I wanna open it more if possible. The harnesses are wrapped with some cloth type of tape and they are a bit damp.

What about the center console?

Doesn’t sound like you’ve got many specialized tools at your disposal. Keep it aired out as much as you can, and slap one of these in there closest to the moisture. Don’t worry about fixing anything until it’s dried out.

the trim piece around the radio is clipped on that comes off and then you have access to the screws to remove the separate pieces, I would take the ground off the battery while it dries out and you can remove the airbag and use a hair dryer to dry out that and the clockspring and other components
if you do not have a hair dryer they are cheap at the store, easy enough to just grab one

you can take the radio and hvac and switches out and thw airbag and dry them with the hair dryer and then let them sit out in the sun on some tin foil or even just cement they will get plenty dry.

Is needed if everything is working so far? What if I just let it keep air drying.

you might have to reset the clock, you don't really loose anything otherwise, the obd stuff will self test and reset on there own.
Idle will be good? Not worried about it being a bit high at first. Just wanna make sure it relearns. I didn’t have to relearn when I cleaned my throttle body. Which I think you actually assisted me with on here

Should I worry about dash instrument panel? It was acting up but stopped now. Only did it the one time.

Good thing about older vehicles. I once drove a top less /door less FJ-40 landcruiser, even in winter snow. Parked outside.. would be full of snow. Rain too. Never an issue!

Woke up to everything working so far! Thanks for tips everyone. Was scared bc electronics were being weird. But every thing went back to normal it seems. Just fighting the musty smell and damp leather.
