I am looking to install a set of Bilstein 4600 on my 09 Tahoe LT 4x4

Dose anyone have a list of the components needed to rebuild the struts? I want to make sure, I am not missing anything. It would suck to do the tear down and find out I am missing something.

Dose anyone have any insight as to any issues, I might run into when doing this job?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Someone posted a chart before with all components broken down with part #’s but I can’t find it.

You’ve got upper and lower spring isolators, bump stop, spring seat and top hat. Unless those are dry rotted/rusted and compromised 99% of people re-use them.

This was posted by a member a while ago. I don’t remember who, but I saved it on the chance that I would need to do the same. Hope it helps

Go to GMPartsDirect.com, enter your VIN, and then look for an exploded view of the strut assembly. That's how I identified all of the parts that I needed to 'completely' rebuild the strut.

Many of the bits and pieces were completely reusable when I did the struts on thecopcar.

We're the bump stops reusable?
I did replace those. They were pretty bedraggled. Also the dust boots And lower nylon ring. Because I had them.

a little bit of coverage on page 8 of my thread.
