Received a jump seat for 2018 Tahoe PPV that is supposed to fit. When I have it in position it sits too high to get the 4 bolts in. I raised up the front and took this picture...I am point at 2 pins under the rear frame of the jump seat that seem to be holding it up too high. Wondering if I need to try to make holes in floor padding or maybe cut them off? Any suggestions are appreciated. 20230214_170035.jpg

I was stumped with this also. Under the rubber flooring there are holes in the frame that will line up with those support pins on that jump-seat. Basically the way I dealt with it was use your hands and look for the area to cut with a knife. When you find the holes.. the jump seat will fit in there like a glove and the bolts will line up! Taking the front seats out made it so much easier. Hope that helps

Thank you. I'll give that a shot.

Got 3 of the 4 mounting bolts in today...after trimming quite a bit of the rubber flooring and insulation, pretty much everywhere the mounting feet meet the metal floor. Even then the "black-box" thing meets the plastic bottom of the seat and holds it up. I think I can get the 4th bolt in if I have a helper to put their weight on it.
