Can I replace PPV suspension parts to make it ride smoother?

We just got a 2014 PPV but it rides very harsh, feeling every bump. Has anyone found a solution? Thanks in advance!

Yes you can. It’s the spring rates that are stiff. Replace the front struts with non PPV units. The front shocks are the same.

in the rear, the springs are shorter. the shocks are shorter to match, so both would need to be changed if you go with stock springs. That would also change the stance.

So I ask the shop to replace
Front springs and struts
Back springs and shocks
with standard stock for my year PPV which is 2014.
Anything else?

I also read the PPV tires can be replaced with something less aggressive than the Goodyear eagles that are installed currently. Any recommendation for the softest riding tires that will fit these PPV steel wheels?

I couldn’t tell you on tires. The springs are the rough part. Unless the tires are cupped or worn funny, why not run them as is?

I just figured and read that less aggressive/not high performance eagle tires would significantly improve ride comfort. I’m not planning to zoom around on a track. Just driving around town and highways. Hope that makes sense.

Go with a much taller sidewall. Tires will be cheaper, you don't need speed rated. My specs are in my sig below, and I've got 60k+ miles on that suspension and tire size with no regrets. Made a world of difference.

Actually, until you get rid of those PPV tires.....you aren't going to improve much on the ride quality, even with suspension. It'll be better with just suspension, but night and day when you do both tires and suspension.
