I have those on my front doors -- just not on my back doors. And I have been too time strapped to even look to see if I can do it. That, and I have way more REPAIRS to make right now, so mods are not on the list at the moment.

I wanted to convert to a Duramax on my truck so bad it is sad.

You will have reflectors there if you don’t have the lights. I’m not sure if the wires are there or not, hopefully someone else knows.

My ‘03 Denali has the rear door lights, but not the footwell. The brackets are there to hold the bulbs, and I actually grabbed a pair off a rig at the junkyard, just haven’t gotten around to figuring out where to wire them to.

There’s a wire for the interior lights in the left footwell area, forget which color it is. It’s been documented here, maybe try a search or someone might chime in.

It's been a while, but I believe it MIGHT be a gray wire with a black stripe on 03-06 models. Don't hold me to to that though. If you see a gray/black wire TEST it with a probe or meter to make sure. Don't just go connecting footwell lights it just cuz Scotty said so. Lol

That’s the colors they show in that link above- gray with a black stripe. I’m pretty sure that’s the same as my 08 Silverado but yes double check with a test light.

would anyone be concerned about the amps those strips are drawing if I directly connect them to the courtesy lights in the door ?
